A Certified Hormone Optimization Specialist

Julie is certified through WorldLink Medical in advanced bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Her focus at Longevità Medical is primarily on hormone optimization for women experiencing symptoms related to menopause and for men facing the effects of low testosterone or andropause.

She brings a rare combination of clinical precision, deep listening, and patient advocacy to every treatment relationship, helping each person not only feel better but also better understand their health.

A Career Shaped by Collaborative Care

Julie has worked closely with Dr. Vito C. Quatela—founder and medical director of Longevità Medical—for most of her career. Her extensive experience in aesthetic and surgical settings gives her a nuanced understanding of both functional and cosmetic care. As the former clinical manager at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery, she oversaw pre- and postoperative care for surgical patients and coordinated recovery regimens with the medical team. She also served as a registered nurse first assistant (RNFA), assisting in surgery and managing medication protocols for plastic surgery clients. In parallel, Julie has spent more than a decade as a provider at our other sister practice, Q the Medical Spa, delivering injectable and laser treatments and training her fellow registered nurses in BOTOX® and dermal filler techniques.

Her multidimensional background across surgical, aesthetic, and hormone-related care enables her to treat patients holistically, with a focus on personalized, sustainable outcomes.

Education & Clinical Expertise

Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the State University of New York at Binghamton and her Master of Science in nursing with high honors from St. John Fisher College in Rochester.

She earned her advanced BHRT certification through WorldLink Medical and has a keen interest in emerging medical science. Her professional certifications include:

  • Board-certified family nurse practitioner
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
  • Registered nurse first assistant (RNFA)
  • Licensed New York State registered nurse

Earlier in her career, Julie worked in the surgical intensive care unit at Rochester General Hospital for 8 years, followed by 5 years evaluating and managing patients at the Sleep Disorders Center of Rochester. These early roles helped shape her commitment to long-term patient well-being and her attentive, education-based approach to care.

A Compassionate, Personalized Approach

At Longevità Medical, Julie empowers clients to take an active role in their health, helping them uncover the “why” behind their symptoms and feel supported through every step of their treatment journey. Her care philosophy is based on connection, education, and the belief that lasting wellness should be just as accessible as aesthetic improvement.
