Meet Dr. Vito C. Quatela

Dr. Vito C. Quatela, FACS, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and the visionary founder of Longevità Medical. With more than 3 decades of leadership in aesthetic medicine, Dr. Quatela established Longevità Medical as an extension of his long-standing commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care—treating not just the visible signs of aging but also its root causes.

His goal: to create a place where aesthetics and vitality are treated as inseparable aspects of lasting wellness.

Certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Quatela is also a certified provider of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). His decision to launch Longevità Medical as a complement to his plastic surgery practice and medical spa reflects a deep belief that optimal wellness, at any age, requires close attention to both appearance and function.

Our practice offers personalized recommendations for hormone imbalance and aging-related health concerns, all within a medically directed, patient-first environment.

Dr. Quatela is nationally and internationally recognized for his contributions to facial plastic surgery. He has served as president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). He is also the immediate past president of the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies (IFFPSS), where he continues to shape the future of the field.

In addition, Dr. Quatela is a regular board examiner for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), and his thought leadership is highly sought after by national media outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and ABC News.

Building a Holistic Approach to Integrated Aesthetic Care 

In addition to founding Longevità Medical, Dr. Quatela is the founder of the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery, Q the Medical Spa, and the Quatela Center for Hair Restoration. Through these practices, he has created a fully integrated environment for surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic enhancement, guided by a philosophy of natural-looking outcomes and transformative care.  

His experience training medical professionals—including as a clinical associate professor at the University of Rochester and through one of the nation’s most competitive AAFPRS fellowships—ensures the values he champions are carried forward by the next generation. 

Humanitarian Impact Through the HUGS Foundation 

Dr. Quatela created the HUGS (Help Us Give Smiles) Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides free surgical care to children with congenital deformities in underserved regions around the world, including Vietnam, Guatemala, and Ecuador.  

The HUGS foundation exemplifies Dr. Quatela’s personal philosophy that every human being has a fundamental right to the opportunity to grow and develop socially and intellectually without being ostracized or rejected due to a physical abnormality.
